Logo Tournament

So the logo of the Kings' ECHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, advanced to the "Elite Eight" in a logo tournament set up by The Hockey News- proof that opening day is just around the river bend, ideas of how to entertain are fleeting. The logos are from all leagues in hockey. What I find most funny is that lakings.com talks about "the heated battle" between the Ontario Reign and the Florida Everblades. I don't think it's a good idea to have a hockey team that has a name that has a play on words that is that corny. I gives me a bit of a chuckle every time I hear it. It's not like the Kings' either, it's not the reputation that causes laughter, just the name. Plus, I don't know if you can have a "heated battle" with inanimate objects. A battle of illustrations. C'mon... it's stupid and you know it.

One last note: Who put the logo for Pittsburgh on there? I know they lost but how did they get nominated in the first place? I guess with a name like Crosby on the back, you tend to forgive the angry Mickey Mouse on the front.

Florida Everblades.....?
