Kopitar new Kaptain?

There have been a lot of articles (one article; multiple places) out there linking Kopitar's name to words like "lead" and "teach" and others varieties of the terms. He is ready to take responsibility for this puzzle of a team and lead us to the playoffs gallantly*. There are ads about it and with the only other real option stemming from the lips of fans (but really, what do they know?) being Armstrong, it looks like he would be the more logical answer. Brown is also an option to consider, but I am doubting it; I think it would be a good idea, but Kopitar gets more exposure and is the flashy, fan favorite; he is everything L.A. is about. Me? I am going for the wild card in this equation and putting my money on Handzus.

*I had to put that at the end of the sentence because they never actually use the word 'gallantly' in the article.

There is a lot that Kopitar really has going for him, to put it lightly. You can never fully appreciate the tricks that Kopi has under his sleeve until you see it all collectively. The "Requiem For a A Dream" doesn't hurt the theatrics, either.

With the awe-inspiring talents, depth of plays and collective demeanor, captaincy doesn't seem so far fetched. With all of this backing him up, it leaves us asking:

Is this the year for Kopitar?
