Clune is spelled C-L-O-W-N

No, no, that's 'C' as is crotch. Yes. C-L-O-W-N...no, 'N', 'N' as is NOT 'M'!

This guy has been described as an Avery-type player, and I agree for the most part. I say for the most part because 1. Avery is not a bad player, skill wise and 2. Avery would put up a good fight at least 90% of the time. This guy is just out to piss people off and then hide behind Ivanans' heel.

If he makes the team at all in his lifetime, there will be no shortage of 'Clune the Goon' or 'Clune the Clown' headlines.

What I thought was funny was that even when he appeared to be winning, the other guy would somehow take him down. In every single fight he was in (about 3, I think) that was the outcome. It was mainly coming from the actions or direct fist of one Mr. Adam Keefe of the Phoenix Coyotes. There was a little of this:

Just hit the bench, you are embarrassing us...

Afterwards, it was followed by a little of that (down there, just below):

That's Ivanans for ya, always leading by example...

Even Calder got into a fight that night. There must have been a full moon out or something, I don't know.

There was a sweet little moment, though, when Ivanans went into the box for...oh, to choose the right words...beating the tonsils out of Keefe. He went in and a bit later, Clune joined him after getting his ass kicked. They were sitting in the penalty box and talking; Ivanans was gesturing out what looked to be a discussion about a play. I like to think that he was giving Clune tips on how to fight better. Ivanans then left the box and Clune was there when a fan was talking to him through the glass, motioning towards the ice. I like to think that he was giving Clune tips on how to fight better.
